The LPL Unveils Its New Logo

As the eastern league continues to grow, so does its branding

China - June 9th, 2020 - The League of Legends Pro League has officially unveiled its new logo. 

Demonstrating the power of two opposing forces colliding, resulting in an impact on the world around it, the symbology and energy of the logo reflects the LPL’s history as a “the fighter’s league”

The LPL tournament has always been ready to cause a stir. Whether it’s innovating the scheduling system; improving the viewer experience; increasing fan engagement; adjusting club team management or fostering new fighting tactics, the LPL has become the entertaining league that we see today. 

From moving the 2020 Spring Split from an offline format to an online format, to using green screens in the LPL Spring Finals, to creating an even more engaging viewer experience, the LPL team is committed to overcoming any obstacle in their way. 

Some LPL statistics: 

  • LPL Spring Split had a prize pool of almost $600,000.
  • Winners of the LPL Spring Split headed straight to the World finals.
  • The format of the LPL is unique compared to many other regions. The Playoffs bracket uses a double-gauntlet style format, with all matches played as best-of-five.
  • LPL has had over 40 million views on Twitch alone since it began.
