The League of Legends Pro League Opens Its Doors To The West

Interview and dive deep with the best LPL teams and players

May 28, 2020 - League of Legends’ Pro League's Spring Split has finished and the Mid Season Cup is here. As the LPL celebrates its ninth year of enormous growth across all streaming platforms (it grew 200% in 2020 with audience viewing figures on Twitch alone), now’s your opportunity to interview and profile its teams and players.

The LPL juggernaut continues to gather pace, and is only set to expand in 2020. As one of the most competitive leagues in the world, that is both diverse and unpredictable, it’s not surprising to see it grow year on year.

Made up of 17 teams, the LPL Spring Final saw some upsets. Casters misjudged their original predictions; both World Champions lost to rookie teams—eStar and JDG never dropped a single frame until the finals. It’s a tournament that’s always ready to cause a stir.

Interviews are ready to be arranged for all LPL teams via the media contact below.

Some LPL statistics:

  • LPL Spring Split had a prize pool of almost $600,000.
  • Winners of the LPL Spring Split headed straight to the World finals.
  • The format of the LPL is unique compared to many other regions. The Playoffs bracket uses a double-gauntlet style format, with all matches played as best-of-five.
  • LPL has had over 40 million views on Twitch alone since it began.
